Unai Emery reportedly is staying another season with Sevilla. Emery managed to lead Sevilla won UEFA Europa League and as a result the club will play at UEFA Champion League next season. He rejected the offer from Napoli to play in Italy and the chance to play at one of the most competitive league EPL with West Ham United.

The charm of Champions League finals is of course irresistible and moreover his team’s status as UEFA Europa League Winners will give him another chance to play another rare chance of European Super Cup against Barcelona.
“Which coach or player has the possibility to play in the finals? Few. I start training on 6 July and I already have the European Super cup against Barcelona. And then we will play in the Champions. Sevilla gives me this possibility. Moreover, we have managed to create a culture of work at all levels,” said Emery during an interview with El Pais.
“Napoli offered me a project with economic strength but without the Champions. And I had a nice option from West Ham, a very sizeable economic,” Added Emery.
Emery’s contract with Sevilla is extended for one year on June 5. It was a great achievement when Sevilla won the Europa League title and it would be a normal decision by Sevilla to extend the contract of the coach who can lead the team to win the title for a second straight year. Sevilla will join the other four teams in La Liga to play at the highest level tournament in Europe which makes Spain represented by five teams this year.
Not only Napoli and West Ham which held talks with this 43 year old coach, a rumor said Real Madrid is also interested with him after Carlo Ancelotti failed to get any trophy for the Madrid giant, even though in the end Rafa Benitez is concluded as the replacement.
