Damien Comolli’s regret over signing Boateng
Damien Comolli, the former big shot of Tottenham told the press that he has regretted signing-up Kevin-Prince Boateng during his tenure in the London-based club. He mentioned that the reason why he said that because he believes that his acquisition did not work out and it was the club’s fault.
Boateng joined Tottenham as a midfielder in 2007 and was offered to sign-up to Tottenham upon demonstrating his excellent performances in Hertha Berlin in the Bundesliga. He came in when he just reached 19 years old and everybody thought he had extra-ordinary talent and potential.
Boateng is known for his strength, speed and juggling tricks, he is also blessed with killer instinct in the front of goal. He was selected as one of the key player for the Ghana national football team. He played for Ghana during the 2010 FIFA World Cup in South Africa. He was then selected again to play for Ghana in 2014 FIFA World Cup Qualification against Egypt.
