Fiorentina finished their Serie A campaign on a five-game winning streak after beating 10-man Chievo 3-0 on Sunday evening (31/5). They ended their season with fireworks after earning a 3-0 victory at the StadioArtemioFranchi. As the final match came, Fiorentina coach Vincenzo Montella had put an exclamation mark on a positive season for the Viola in Sunday’s home game against Chievo.
“Our campaign is still open and we can challenge Napoli for fourth place as well as defend fifth,” said Montella optimistically. “We have proved this season we are a strong team and we want to finish as high as possible in the standings. We will look to end our campaign with a win against Chievo.”
