Salford City, which is also owned by some of the former Manchester United’s players such Gary Neville and his sibling Phil, Paul Scholes and Nicky Butt knocked out Notts County with 2-0 on last Friday. Paul commented the winning from the Notts County with only one word, “Sensational” to describe his feeling and all of the Salford City’s fans.
It was Danny Webber who emphasised the strike openings soon after the second half round started. He bundled the ball home past Roy Carroll, who is another former United player right after James Poole created havoc in the Notts County’s area. Jordan Hulme leaded another raid by shooting off the frame of Carroll’s goal as Salford City dominance continued on the field.
The night was ended with old-fashioned pitch from Salford CIty’s fans and the club’s owner was grinning happily. They can’t wait to play for the next round.
