Greg Griffin, the chairman of Adelaide United has told the Adelaide Advertiser that the club are serious about signing Luca Toni. The club are also already asked the World Cup winner’s representatives for more details about what it would take to bring Toni to the club.
Toni has been linked with a move to Australia when his contract expires at the end of June, and Adelaide have emerged as a possible destination for the 37-year-old Italian. “If we do something, we so it seriously,” Griffin said of Adelaide’s interest in Toni. “Basically we are looking at this situation with Luca Toni seriously.
