QPR forward player Adel Taarabt has hit once more at chief Harry Redknapp over claims that he is overweight and unfit to play.
Redknapp dispatched an attack on the Morocco international after QPR’s 3-2 defeat to Liverpool on Sunday, guaranteeing Taarabt was “not fit to play football”, including, “I can’t continue securing individuals who would prefer not to run about and train, who are about three stone overweight”.
Be that as it may Taarabt has extended the break with his chief by asserting that Redknapp does not by any means frequently take training sessions, and afterward posturing shirtless in a photoshoot so as to deny the recommendation he is out of shape.
“I am an expert – this is not about countering, this is about ensuring my notoriety,” Taarabt said in the Daily Mail. “I played in that hold game for 90 minutes and on the off chance that he didn’t think I was running he could have taken me off. Possibly I didn’t perform like I could on the grounds that it was a store team game and I was securing myself… ”
“My employment is to make, bring goals to the team. Perhaps he anticipates that me will make more tackles. I am not this kind of player. I can just get fitness playing Premier League. You can prepare six or seven hours, however you won’t be fit.”
Taarabt has shown up for the club this season in the wake of completing the keep going battle on advance at AC Milan, and has no apprehensions about reprimanding the path in which the under-pressure Redknapp is dealing with the team.
“The training sessions aren’t the same standard as Milan, or what I would expect under an alternate supervisor,” he said.
“They are not as extreme, the players aren’t as spurred. It is the same as we used to do at Tottenham years back.” When played West Ham he told the players “you’re not fit, you’re not this, you’re not that.”
“I said ‘however the issue is we don’t have any arrangement in the game, we don’t know how to press as a team. It’s not about simply circling, you have to play with your mind …”
After West Ham he said the majority of the team is not fit. After Liverpool, on the grounds that the execution was so great, he said everything was immaculate – what, in one week, he changed the fitness?
