There has been lots of narratives in the realm of Real Madrid’s players transfer. These include some of the most fantastic names such as Wesley Sneijder, MesutOzil, ArjenRobben, and Angel Di Maria. All these names were all greedy. In fact, all of these names were greedy as well as often ill-advised. None of these players cared about Madrid and they did not respect Real Madrid, either. Santiago Bernabeu was better without them. In addition, they had left since they wanted to leave, not because of someone’s demand. However, the players said differently, none of them were in desire to leave Santiago Bernabeu. ArjenRobben complained the plethora of lies and Angel Di Maria noticed rather bitterly, “I was not to someone’s footballing notion”
This week, as the narrative broke of Man United’s interest in Real Madrid’s defender, Sergio Ramos, and his desire to leave, La Razon ran a headline with a photo of the player celebrating a goal. The front page demanded “Respect this shirt!”. An editorial accused Ramos and his brother and agent, a money-collector whose desire to the cause was in inquiry. Ramos is, they claimed, a player that did not even have any offers just from any clubs, even though actually he did, yet still sought to hold his team to ransom.
Sergio Ramos’ future is currently in doubt, and now some sides are being made. That was rather a blunter, a more open version of the narrative line followed for quite some time, which was a familiar sections of the media circus. Ramos read it and believed that the defender knew what he was up to, or who, assuming that lines of media would lead him back to Santiago Bernabeu. Real Madrid has suspected that Sergio Ramos made use of the press to corroborate his position, with his notion of events said in papers critical of the club’s upper echelons. Much of the media circus line up, playing their very part. This is a war in which side have been taken and the foremost line is drawn rather predictably. That alone will influence how things will go.
Speaking on Marca, PedorRiesco, said “at the moment with every story is taking place, it is rather arduous to see Sergio staying at Santiago Bernabeu. He is a symbol of the team and he certainly has nothing to evince in terms of his commitment to the club, yet so much that is being told against the defender is a mere manipulation, an effort to discredit him.
