West Ham manager, Sam Allardyce, has been quite under the spotlight lately as his tem manager to gain victory by 1-0 against Sunderland. The result which was fraught with effort and hard woks by West Ham squad was considered as a fantastic outcome after a number of score slips in the English Premier League. The battle against Tottenham Hotspurs and Manchester United was surely a nightmare for West Ham. However, it seems that the squad has sparked the confidence to look forward to the forthcoming matches in the Barclay English Premier League fixtures. West Ham surely has a great amount of confidence at the moment.
With the victory the squad gained after a number of defeats in the league, West Ham gaffer, Allardyce, also has relinquished a defending statement that his team performances this season has been incredibly underrated. What bothers the manager is the statement by Karren Brady. He said that the Hammers had been underachieving. This was surely a serious criticism from West Ham vice-chairwoman. However, no matter what the buzz has said about the squad performance, Allardyce has now proven that his team has managed to fight back.
Even though there were a number of criticisms on the team performance, one of which claiming that the performance as underperforming rather than underachieving, the gaffer was bold to defend the team. Allardyce said that the performances the team shown have been there, there had not been too many underachieving performance this year. He even claimed that there were hardly any underperforming games by the squad. The performances that the team posed have been exceedingly fascinating and outstanding. Even though there may have been some weaknesses in the previous matches, the gaffer believed that there would be improvement devoted to them.
What had made the manager so excited was that the performance has been really good. As most people know, the result in the last match has not matched the performance that the team has portrayed. When asked if the team should have obtained more scores in the last game, Allardyce soundly said “yes”. The fact pertaining to the last West Ham game shows that the team is not pretty big this season, that the team have not quite got the strength in expected depth. What the manager concerns is that the team have to maintain a spot in the top eight. With the last performance being outstanding, there is no doubt that West Ham can get better results in the forthcoming English Premier league
